Colefruse Internacional has successfully passed the unannounced IFS Food Version 8 audit conducted by SGS, achieving a score of 95.70% and Higher Level certification. This result reinforces our commitment to quality and food safety in almond processing for the Spanish and international food industries.
The audit began on 3 September 2026 at our facilities in Caudete, Albacete, Spain. The certificate, issued on 13 October, confirms compliance with IFS Food Version 8 requirements within the scope of the certified activities.
Quality and food safety in almond processing
The certification covers the processing of whole almonds, either skin-on or blanched (cleaning, sorting, washing, blanching, peeling, with or without roasting), with or without cutting into different formats (sticks, sliced and dices) and/or milling. Packing in sacks, big bags or plastic bags, with or without cardboard boxes, for industrial and small format use. Processing of roasted whole almonds, either skin-on or blanched, and blanched almond dices under vacuum in plastic bags and big bags.
